Register with Boatshed to see 105 extra photos of this Converted MFV 65ft .According to the last surveyors report on this vessel which was carried out in 2009. This modified fishing vessel (MFV) was built in Ireland by Killybegs in 1976 and is constructed of Carvel planks on sawn Oak timber. She is fitted with a Caterpillar marine diesel engine, a generator and has a wet oil fired central heating system. She also has a Rayburn/Aga style heating stove and a solid fuel fireplace in the saloon area. Stepping onboard I was immediately impressed by the huge internal space of this vessel spread out over two decks. The current owner has owned the vessel over the last eleven years but due to family commitments they have now decided to sell the boat on as they are not able to maintain her any longer. She is a project given her current condition and will require some modernisation but I believe she could be transformed into a very impressive and spacious liveaboard vessel. This MFV sits in a very commanding position on her mooring with stunning views over Plymouth. Her mooring is transferable to the new owners an we can provide details of the mooring costs upon request. These boat details are subject to contract. Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered. This Converted MFV 65ft has been personally photographed and viewed by Jason Currie-Smith of Boatshed Plymouth.
