This model of the DeFever 49 Raised Pilothouse was built by CTF in the POCTA yard, Taiwan. She is a full displacement hull, has soft aft chines and is stabilized with Trac Stabilizers providing very comfortable cruising. The fly bridge is positioned aft of the pilothouse giving the boat a lower profile while maintaining the classic beauty and lines of Art DeFevers designs. The full walk-around and fully enclosed cockpit, spacious salon and galley layout, raised pilothouse and fully enclosed fly bridge with spacious deck and her stateroom layout, make it ideal for a cruising (or liveaboard) couple who enjoy entertaining with occasional overnight guests. The current owners completed an extensive interior remodel during the years of ownership. Recent significant maintenance items include: Annual Brightwork maintenance completed in June Maxwell Windless pulled and serviced; Mantus Anchor Swivel added to CQR anchor (October) Trac Stabilizers complete service (November) Walker Airseps added to both engines (November) Bottom Paint: bottom sanded, 2 coats PCA gold paint applied (November) Running gear and props polished (November) Rudders adjusted and serviced (November) All Zincs replaced, including thruster and line cutters (November) Gel coat repairs completed (November) The Passagemaker Magazine April 2017 issue, featured the DeFever 49.
