FotoKem, a leading digital and film post-production facility in Burbank, is looking for a HelpDesk Administrator to help support our dynamic and growing company. FotoKem provides creative and technical support to all major studios in Hollywood, and has been a respected part of the global film-making community since 1963. We are looking for an experienced and capable candidate who will report to the Vice President of Enterprise IT and work alongside the diverse family of employees in FotoKem's film laboratory, digital services departments and audio houses. General Description: Responsible for providing daily end-user technical support for a heterogeneous environment comprised of desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals including Windows, Apple, Linux. Must be well versed in these operating systems and have basic network experience to properly deploy and maintain these systems and peripherals. Excellent communication skills is a must. Essential Job Functions/ Responsibilities: - This position requires the individual to not only provide technical support to users throughout the Enterprise but to work with the Enterprise IT team to ensure that systems and services are functional, operational and efficient - This involves using the current HelpDesk system, TrackIt, to monitor and update service tickets submitted as well as directly interfacing with end users to ensure issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner - Required to routinely visit other FotoKem offices within the LA basin to provide on-site support as necessary - Responsible for installing, configuring and patching operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux), third party applications, and setting up and maintaining printers - Be able to install third party software on servers and understanding of how to start/stop application services - You will work closely with the Information Security team to ensure that that best practices are followed and enforced Experience Requirements: - 3-5 years experience in Systems Engineering and IT support is required - Windows, MacOS and Linux (Ret Hat, CenOS) experience - Proven track record of success in the installation and maintenance of Microsoft and Google Workspace and messaging platforms - Experience with Palo Alto Networks' GlobalProtect is a plus - Familiarity with MFA technologies (i.e.Okta) is preferred - MDM experience is preferred - Desktop OS imaging and deployment with familiarity with tools such as PDQ, Desktop Central - Experience with virtualization and containerization (i.e. VMware) and backup systems such as Veeam - Experience with creating automation scripts (i.e. VPS, Perl, Bash) - Networking skills and understanding of LAN, WAN, wireless and related protocols (i.e. TCP/IP, UDP, SMTP, HTTP/S) Education Requirements: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is a plus - CCNA, Network+ or Security+ certification is a plus FotoKem is an equal opportunity employer.
