Position: Bonneville is looking for an organized, high-energy individual to join our team as a Promotions Coordinator. In this role, you'll help build and engage audience and client loyalty for the music stations as well as the individual shows by planning, implementing and assisting in the coordination of all promotional activities as they relate to product and sales fulfillment both for on-air and website properties. We need an effective team member and assist in assuring the Promotions Department makes its full contribution to achieve established goals and objectives. Responsibilities: As Promotions Coordinator, you will help move the music stations forward as we continue to grow and evolve. Your responsibilities may include the following: Develop, create, and brainstorm promotions with Sales Department to ensure Bonneville SLC maintains and increases share of business Manage on-air sales promotions and announcements Recap sales and station promotions in a timely manner with proof of performance documentation Collaborate with multiple departments to create and execute promotions such as remotes, events, concerts, van hits and other street team activities from start to finish Run point on remote events and promotions Create and deliver event and/or promotion proposals Write and curate content designed to engage followers and promote the brands in a positive manner Ability to Coordinate with the sales teams on events and promotions Work in close conjunction with programming personnel Other special projects/assignments involving radio stations Requirements: Energetic individual with a passion for music High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred 1 - 2 years' experience with marketing, particularly in social media Prefer previous experience in broadcasting or related business Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written Creative writing and ideation Creative experience in successfully building and executing sales promotions Proven ability to initiate and work independently, if necessary, and operate effectively in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations Possess excellent oral and written presentation and interpersonal skills Project a pleasant, energetic, businesslike image while representing the company Work effectively with the public, clients, hosts and other employees Proven ability to be a self-starter, work under pressure, and handle stress Work effectively in a team environment Capable and willing to resolve unexpected problems and be flexible to perform unscheduled assignments Maintain a valid driver's license with proven ability to safely drive personal vehicle without exposing company to serious liability risks Physical Demands: Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands and/or fingers Receive, process and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination Lift, move and carry up to 50 pound consistently Bonneville is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by law.
