Register with Boatshed to see 155 extra photos of this Westerly Fulmar .This looks like a nice example of the beloved Westerly Fulmar - so many people still rate these fine yachts for their great lines and performance, coupled with a practical, roomy and flexible interior, that really works. She seems really well equipped, with a running fridge, solar charging and everything I think you'd need to navigate her and her interior is clean, bright and commensurate with her age and use. There are jobs to be done here - as there always will be - and there and I think a really good exterior polish would make a huge difference to her appearance. All said and done, we present to you, a lovely, classic and sought after yacht, heaped with gear and waiting for adventures with her new owner * complete with freshly serviced engine! * These boat details are subject to contract. Register with Boatshed to see 82 extra photos of this Moody 44 Sailing Yacht.Boatshed Cornwall have pleasure in listing this Moody 44 Mk1 sailing cruising yacht. Designed by Laurent Giles with the hull and deck manufactured by Halmatic Ltd and fitted out by Moody Yachts. This example was the last constructed in 1974/5 of fourteen (14) hulls commenced in 1972. This Moody 44 was inspected in water moored to a pontoon having been brought back from Portugal at the end of last season. It is UK VAT paid and was purchased by the current owner in the UK during 2021. Overall, this example is needing some tlc and as a result some of the issues are reflected in the price point. Things to consider are, Headsail needs replacing (currently being repaired) Engine fuel issue resolving (waiting on a marine engineer) Various leaks from windows etc. On a positive, there are some recent upgrades which also need noting Renewed engine (2006) - original was a Perkins 4108 Full engine service (2023) Fuel tanks cleaned (2023) Simrad autopilot (2024) Hull antifouled (2024) This Moody 44 appears to have been well used and cared for and would be a good basis for a minor project to bring it up to a good or very good standard. When this yacht was completed back in 1974 it was certified by Lloyds Register *100A1. This Moody 44 is well worth a viewing for the right individual who is interested in a minor project. Fisher 30 Motorsailor REF#341434
2025-03-17 12:45:57| Boatshed.com Recent Boats
Register with Boatshed to see 76 extra photos of this Fisher 30 Motorsailor. The Fisher 30 was the first of the hugely popular pilot house style motorsailors, based upon the sea keeping abilities of North Sea trawlers. Over 250 were built throughout the 1970's and 80's and I am sure that the majority are still cruising somewhere, they really were made to last As you go aboard you notice how safe and secure everything feels. The custom cut out bulwark allows you to step up easily and it slides back in whilst underway. You step down into the shelter of the cockpit and then it's the wheelhouse helm and seating area which really does make the Fishers true all weather boats The hull looks beautifully painted and gleams and the teak is kept natural which gives her a very attractive look. Her original engine was replaced in 2016 and is well installed and accessible. Going below she's well presented and feels dry and fresh, to me this is a really nice example of a well loved design, recently relaunched and waiting to go These boat details are subject to contract.
