'Absolute heroes': Lake County deputy shooting details revealed at press conference

While he and his staff coped with a colleague's "indescribable" death in the line of duty, Lake County Sheriff Peyton Grinnell paid his respects to the deputies he called "absolute heroes" during a press conference Tuesday afternoon.Visibly moved, Grinnell teamed up with State Attorney Bill Gladson at a Monday press conference to reveal the details of the horrific altercation that left a sheriff's deputy dead and two others injured during what at first seemed like a routine call to Eustis' Orlando Hills neighborhood.Grinnell announced that Julie Sulpizio, also known as Julia Jefferson, 48, was arrested and charged with murder in connection with the Aug. 2 death of Master Deputy Bradley Link. She also faces several other charges. Sulpizio was detained pursuant to the state's Baker Act during a visit to her home on Brookside Drive.The clash that took place Friday night has been described as an ambush.
