We seek applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level in Film & Media Studies. Appointment will begin August 10, 2025. Finalist's tenure home and joint title will be assigned at the time of hire. We are interested in individuals with research and teaching expertise in race and representation in media (with an emphasis in film, TV, digital media, social media, or any combination thereof) as well as intersectional issues relevant to same. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in film & media studies or a related field at the time appointment begins (August 10, 2025). Previous experience in teaching and mentoring successful undergraduate research preferred; a demonstrated ability to teach introductory film & media studies courses, and/or film & media theory courses desired.
