We invite applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Instruction in Film position beginning August 15, 2025. The successful candidate will be a filmmaker with credits in feature and/or short films that have screened at noteworthy film festivals, conferences, and/or have been distributed. The candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of production courses at the undergraduate and graduate level, including film production, cinematography, and virtual production courses. As instructional faculty, this position will be responsible for teaching four courses in the Fall semester, and four courses in the Spring semester. We invite applications for a full-time Lecturer position in English to begin August 1, 2025. The selected candidate will be appointed to a 9-month, non-tenure eligible faculty position for an initial two-year period, with the potential for renewal and for promotion to Senior Lecturer after five years. We seek applicants with experience teaching undergraduate courses in Creative Writing, Literature, and Film, with demonstrated evidence of teaching success. The ideal candidate will have expertise Creative Writing as well as Modernism, Post Colonialism, and Contemporary Fiction. We are particularly interested in candidates who have multiple years of experience teaching a broad range of courses including introductory creative writing, creative writing workshops in poetry and fiction, African-American literature, women's literature, and technology and film, among others.
