We are seeking a full-time Editor (salary with benefits) to work for our company. This is not a remote position and you must work in our main office located in Kingston, Ontario. We are seeking an individual with intermediate professional experience (2-5 years). You are creative, extremely organized, and efficient. Responsibilities: Perform all duties required in the role of Editor. Report directly to the Producer. Editing videos, TV commercials, documentaries. Meet all deadlines and work within given hours to complete projects. Work with clients to tell their stories through the production of various video projects Management of all files and our NAS system Help develop creative concepts, storyboards and scripts for video, digital content and television Work independently and be self-motivated. While also working within a team & take direction Camera Operation knowledge & skills are a bonus skill Academic/Educational Requirements: Degree or Diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution in the areas of Video, Film, Media, Digital Marketing, or other related fields. Required Skills/Experience: 2-5 years of full-time editing experience editing high-end video, TV series or commercials Amazing organizational skills and the ability to problem solve and work very efficiently Extensive knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, Adobe CC products, Premiere Pro & After Effects Great communication and people skills and can easily work with clients and other team members Strong understanding of computer requirements for editing, rendering & NAS systems Time Management Skills. Can work under tight deadlines and produce excellent results
