We invite applications for a tenure-track faculty appointment as Assistant Professor of Communication Arts to begin August 18, 2025. The new faculty member will have an academic background in film and video and be an excellent, innovative, student-centered teacher with hands-on pre-production, production, and post-production skills who participates in developing and promoting the Communication Arts program and helps sustain and grow its media arts curriculum and media production facilities. The regular teaching load is 3/3 per academic year with a rotation of courses that may include Image and Sound, Screenwriting, Advanced Screenwriting, Fundamentals of Video Production, Fundamentals of Audio Production, Advanced Video Production, Advanced Topics in Digital Media, Documentary, and other courses in individual areas of creative, research, and teaching expertise.
