Last month, the comedian revealed that she had been diagnosed with early-stage melanoma, a type of skin cancer for the second time. After initially undergoing treatment in her 20s when she discovered a mole, Katherine opened up about the experience while reminding her fans to advocate for themselves after doctors initially dismissed her concerns.The 41-year-old decided to take her healthcare concerns to a private clinic after being left unhappy with the response from the NHS when she noticed that the mole wasnt right. The mum-of-three has since undergone surgery to remove the mole and has now had an in vitro genetics test to help detect any other potential health issues.
