Casting Session Runner

We are in search of experienced session runners for the busy year ahead. This is part-time, contract work on an as needed basis. QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS At least 2 years experience in casting, including work as a session runner, ideally in commercials. Must be a highly motivated self-starter, able to listen intently, anticipate needs and react quickly Must be located in Toronto Must have strong technical and problem solving skills - experience with ecocast/breakdown services and Zoom is an asset. Must be punctual, have a positive 'can do' attitude and have exceptional interpersonal skills KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Familiarize yourself with the scripts/creative in advance of the session. Set up studio for session Welcome and collaborate professionally with Director, line producer, and agency team. Run camera Brief talent when necessary, and provide redirects when necessary. Read opposite talent when necessary Strike/close up studio at the end of the session RATE OF PAY - $35/HR, 6 HR MINIMUM. HOURS ARE DEPENDANT ON SESSION TIMING AND CAN RUN LONG, AND INTO THE EVENINGS.
