U.S. Hotel Industry Rebounds with Global RevPAR on the Rise during the week ending 18 January 2025

Globally, excluding the U.S., the weekly RevPAR increased by 8.1%, led by Japan with a 34.7% gain. Mexico and Germany also posted strong performance increases, while China's performance remained flat.

The occupancy rate increased 6.7%, averaging at 55.8%. The Average Daily Rate (ADR) also rose by 10.0% to US$155.81, while the Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR) experienced a significant increase of 17.4%, averaging at US$86.93.
