We seek an experienced video editor to join the team on a contract basis. You will be expected to work on a variety of editing projects, from turning around timely news videos in a matter of hours to working on more long-form videos based on our original reporting, all while collaborating across the newsroom. This is a fully remote, contract-based position. Must have 2-3 years of proven experience in video production and editing. Fluency in Adobe Premiere Pro required. Basic proficiency in After Effects (masking, 2D animation, Premiere workflows, etc) also required. Basic proficiency in audio mixing is a must. Proficiency in resizing and reformatting Photoshop and Illustrator graphics for video a plus. Must be comfortable working under tight deadlines with quick turnaround times.
