We are seeking a skilled video and audio producer for a six-month role to help develop and lead the production of a new weekly video podcast. This show will feature the sort of informed analysis and robust discussion to answer the question, how can we protect American ideals against the dangers that currently threaten democratic institutions and market freedoms? The video podcast will be published on YouTube every week, as well as in its own podcast feed. The show's producer will need the ability to act independently while also collaborating closely with the show's host and the broader editorial team. This is a six month full-time temporary position and can be based in New York City or Washington, D.C. Proven experience in video production and editing required (preferably in podcasting and journalism). Must be proficient in taping and editing softwares, such as Riverside, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro. Must be familiar with YouTube and podcast distribution platforms.
