We are looking for a Senior Editor, Network Visuals. This role would work with Member Stations on story ideas, content and sharing methodology. The person would extend the shared services model established through the Collaborative Journalism Network, so that a journalist with specific expertise provides editing, field support, production, training and added capacity to stations. This could include partnering with other organizations involved in these efforts as well. They will develop, conceive and execute original visual content from pitch through publication with a sophisticated understanding of how to tailor visual narratives and storytelling for young and diverse audiences. This position will also develop a newsletter featuring visual work in public media. This position may require working nights, weekends and holidays as needed. This is a limited term position ends on 9/30/26. Must have at least 7 years of photographic and/or video storytelling experience, preferably with a major network or newsroom, studio or creative agency. Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud programs related to video and photo design (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere) required. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with a specialization in film, video, media production, photography or journalism preferred.
