I have known this owner and boat for close on 20 years and he has looked after her throughout that time having serviced her every winter and it shows in how she runs. She is almost totally as Freeman made her and has been kept that way, Unmolested examples are now very hard to find especially in this condition. She has been used most weekends by the current owner who has now bought a bigger boat after taking 14 years to get to that decision. This boat has charm and character and a lot to offer the freeman enthusiast or first time boater. Mechanically she appears to be just as she should be and is very well maintained. She is clean and dry and her gelcoat appears to be in good order. She has a good canopy and upholstery and her freeman woodwork is just fine. She is a 52 year old boat so does have some small wear here and there, as you would expect, but this is not very evident unless you look very hard. Her galley is fully functional with sink, oven, hob and grill and is all concealed, she has a sea toilet fitted. The saloon converts to a double bunk and the forward Vee berth is spacious and comfortable. This boat must be viewed if you are looking for a good honest and genuine example of the Freeman 26. She has a current boat safety certificate to mid 2025 and her broads toll is paid to March 25. Her mooring close to Norwich may also be available. She was last out of the water early this year and was freshly antifouled at that time These boat details are subject to contract. This boat I have personally known for over 20 years. The mk3 was the final iteration of the wonderful Fairline Holiday which is an excellent first cruiser and perfectly happy on a river or at sea. I owned one for many years and it was a very versatile and capable little boat that punched far above its weight. This particular Holiday is well presented and has recently had the engine and drive system re built and serviced by a local marine engineering company. The bill was north of 3k! Her Ford diesel gives her good performance, range and economy. The cockpit is roomy and seats 5 easily. Her interior is all clean and tidy and a cosy place to be and can sleep 4 when needed but is best as a couples boat. Being in original gelcoat she is quite rare. She needs a clean up externally but other than that she is a perfectly lovely example. Her boat safety certificate runs to April 2028 and her broads toll is paid to March 25. Her mooring may also be available. These boat details are subject to contract.
