The majority of their designs were smaller but we believe 3 of these Sebec 56 footers were made. When looking at living aboard a boat there is often a compromise between having comfortable living space and retaining the ability to go to sea. This boat has both in abundance! She's laid out currently to suit her owners who live aboard full time. The master aft cabin is huge, as well as a large island bed there is a vanity area, lots of storage and ensuite electric heads. The saloon is at deck level, the galley all new with lots of workspace and going forward the cabins are currently singles but would easily be converted to doubles or twins. The engine room is vast for a boat of this size and houses a pair of well cared for Ford Mermaids which drive her along nicely. A bow thruster is a new addition to help with manoeuvrability in a tight marina and there is a new electric windlass waiting to be fitted. Presented in lovely condition the tastefully refitted interior is virtually new and the exterior has been treated to a full 2 pack re paint. The canopy was also replaced at this time. This boat presents exceptionally well and has a "fresh" feel throughout. The saloon area is very bright and airy giving the feel of a larger space. The owners have transformed the interior of this boat with their design and colours making it a very pleasant space from the cockpit to the saloon and fwd cabin. She has undergone extensive renovation, with the hull taken back to bare metal both inside and out. Sprayfoam insulation applied, new tanks installed, new boiler and radiators plumbed in and countless other jobs undergone to make the boat their ideal floating home. However, there is still more to do, and the couple have decided to prioritise their family and sell. There is still fitting to do - largely cosmetic - as all the big work has been done. The interior lining is functional, but could be improved. The fitment of lockers/cupboards would finish the boat perfectly. There is a separate, self contained cabin accessed via the wheelhouse. She is currently moored at Tower Bridge moorings, but the berth is not transferable. She was last out of the water in 2021 for a routine survey. She is epoxy coated and has nearly new anodes (visible in the photo). These boat details are subject to contract.
