The boat is self-sufficient as there is no electricity provided at the mooring. Heating is via a solid fuel stove and gas powered water heater. The two 350kW solar panels provide enough power to run the fridge, lightning and pumps. (The current owner switches off the fridge during the winter months.) The interior layout is typical of a narrowboat built in the 90s, with the majority of the space given over to the saloon, a good sized galley, and heads with a hip-bath and shower. The sleeping quarters are at the stern, with a built-in wardrobe and storage space below the bed. The exterior of the vessel is in good order. She was last out of the water in March 2021, when she was blacked and the anodes replaced. The mooring fees are a very reasonable 2600 per annum and fully transferable. There is no shore power supply at the mooring. There is an Elsan point and bins are provided. BSS expires August 2026 These boat details are subject to contract. Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered. This Narrowboat 50ft with Mooring Residential Mooring has been personally photographed and viewed by Ben Evans of Boatshed London.

Broom 30 REF#340771

Register with Boatshed to see 94 extra photos of this Broom 30 .Here we have a Twin Diesel Broom 30 from circa 1979 This boat was bought and surveyed in September 2024 toby the current owner. However a sudden and serious injury means they can no longer use the boat which is very sad. The Boat is generally well presented and just in need of a c lean following the winter. she has twin Perkins engine that appear to start and run as they should. She is in original Gelcoat and is a smart looking craft with classic lines and that useful raised aft deck area with safety rails and dodgers. She can sleep 6 and all her upholstery appears to be in good order. She has a forward twin cabin with its own heads compartment and good storage. The Center wheelhouse and saloon are comfortable but there is a small area of water damaged wood by the starboard side window which very common to these boats, but is a simple repair and is purely cosmetic. The seating in the center saloon converts to a double berth. Over the saloon is a galleon style pitched large glass hatch which lets in loads of light and is a nice feature. Moving aft we pass through the mid galley with ample workspace and storage with sink fridge and cooker. adjacent to the galley is the second heads with basin and shower. Lastly aft is the large twin cabin with dresser. The boat has hot water and warm air heating fitted and her Boat safety certificate runs to March 25. The survey is available to the new owner and a mooring is also possible by discussion with the marina, She was last out of the water for anodes and antifouling in October 24 and has just had her 240v system replaced following the survey and a galvanic isolator fitted. The survey also advised starter cable be replaced and this too has just been done as has the heater mounting and lagging and the gas valves all as per survey. The owners were planning extensive use this all the work to survey etc. and it is a shame that life has suddenly taken a difficult turn for them. That all means that the new owner has a a lot of work to benefit from with this classic cruiser. The boat is offered at a very competitive price These boat details are subject to contract.
